anyway, today was a good day. and not because david archuletta came on air a few times.
worship practice in church was assigned to start at 8am. so i was there, prompt (preens) but only lionel was there O.O so i was a bit sad for waking up myself at 7 and my promptness not rewarded. haha just kidding. but then i did my math!! which was a good start to the morning :) we should start a combined tuition under lionel. like our age group.. so that we can score is gces. haha MEGAN KUEK, lets ok! :)
then we celebrated january birthday's, i.e. mine! amongst others. haha i was quite happy, i did a little victory dance... i hope no one saw it :/
LG was awesomely fun. we played connect 4 on the ground in 2 teams and elbert winkindatoj... wow his name is really hard to spell. anyway, i must say that we were very impressed with his photographic memory. he recited this BY HEART (i mean like reading it is amazing in itself but RECITING FROM HEART!):

OMG. haha hes awesome in all his quirky ways. especially during worship when we both don't know what to play.. together with faith and 3 of us are like... EM giggle. heh
then we had our own little birthday celebration in our LG for elbert and i. it was very sweet.. in more ways than one :D BUT very sweet in the good sense more. like aww sweet.
we went for service as well. but i didnt have anyone to sit with because they were either ushering or.. no where to be found. so i sat with joseph and across the pillar from elbert, who subsequently came along and sat box-like with joseph.. arms around and all. ahem :/ It was cool. we managed to listen to the sermon AND chit chat AND smuffled laugh all at the same time. wouldn't want to be a disturbance to the other around us now would we? :P
dinner was good. we (the 4 of us) reuinted over some... no, MUCH, food. teehee i love yusheng! and kuey banket. it makes me so happy eating it. though i guess i shouldnt eat too much, lest i miss training AND get cow-like. hahah how appropriate. i hate my leg. and the stupid muscle with the big-hole-looking-tear in it :( looks like days of physio and pilates to come.
anyway i realised i should have finished all my work today so that i could go into the new year free of work, but i guess i'll just go into the new year being all hardworking and on the ball :)
tuesday going G******** at joseph's house then dinner at liannes house!!!!!!!! :D (i guess i shouldnt mention the g-word here hey.. lest i get arrested? O.O heh all in a bit for CNY fun!)

2009's season started off AWESOMELY well.
our season, as we have been told over and over, is the longest one. we start the earliest and (hopefully) end the latest. we had good team time today, i <3 B div 09! (seems i have been <3ing lotsa people these days.. how dodgy)
we had lunch together sorta, though i was eating and practically everyone else wasnt. GOSH and i wasted my yong tao foo. its part of my pregame ritual, in case you didnt know. but now they increased the minimum quota to 3 yong tao foos so i had a hard time deciding what to have on top of my kuay teow and 2 large fishballs :) oh the hard decisions i make it life.
3 things to think about:
1. my flaws
2. what i can do to overcome any mental shortcomings that i have
3. what makes me happy :)
+ what we want for team
Mrs Janet Ng came down and prayed for us. it was seriously inspiring. she shared about gideon from judges (which i could not for the life of me remember who that was/what he did - im reading that tonight :)) and how he trusted in God, eventually, and subimitted to Gods purpose for him as the chosen ones. We were chosen (for real) to play for MG, and in everything, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. oh my it was so emotional
so anyway the bus ride to RV was rather silent and serious. definitely a good sign of focus. we got off the bus and wandered around the canteen to buy water (in my case), then headed off to the grand stands. its amazing how fast people can appear! i went to the toilet and from 2 there was suddenly like 10 schools!!! WOW. haha anyway, then a very thought provoking team talk took place. we shared our feelings, especially merry who delved into this detail confession of how she hates us when we play badly. but she has learned to overcome it. and overcomed it she did :) i love merry! she's an awesome captain
then mrs kuan wrote us a little letter from across the field in the RV canteen, it was amazing. she has such a good memory.. i hope we make it into one of her letters to our juniors in the future :)
i dont have the energy nor the time to post all the rest of the details of today. basically, today was an awesome day :)

TODAY WAS AN AWESOME DAY!!! I <3 today. thanks to everyone who made it so so special! especially my twin! and my mommy and my cheche!
My 16th birthday celebration spanned 3 days. Friday in school, dear classmates got me 2 slices of cake for recess and that lovely retarded bea got me a white board that said "HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY TO ABIGAIL NYAM WHO TURNS 16 ON SUNDAY! SING HER A BIRTHDAY SONG FOR A FREE HUG!" hahah, i love her. her message was one of my best :) and she made all these little laminated magnets of photos of me (some with just her :P) but it was lovely. our vietnam family.. penang roomies.. US gang.. just some with friends. I <3 bea!
then i had training where Kyle was born! merrilyn and I got him as OUR BABY!!! he's a pretty clean little netball that we love love love. then i was in school till like 10 pm for the parents briefing... and then mich, grace and anna came to stay over!! it was a mighty long day and i was pooped by the time we got home. but we had to do our primary school prefects training ppt!! OMG! it was funny though, with michelle randomly turning quiet because she had completely spaced out.. or dozed off. hahah the next morning we got to school at 8 and had our session..
then michelle and anna came home! AND EVERYONE CAME OVER! i love everyone who came over because i enjoyed myself so so so much!!! :D singstar, failed attempts at HSM twister, HSM uno :D, eating, barbie cake, balloons... and their deafening pops, hit and miss, 30 seconds AND LOTS MORE!!!!!
last xiang came and stayed over.. we went to see the new L girl (the currently unnamed baby :)) and shes CUTE TO THE MAXXX. like really small and fragile, like she could live in the palm of my hand. I WAS THAT CUTE 16 YEARS AGO. XOMG. then we had soup kitchen for dinner where i had a slight emo stint because of bio project.. then we got home and watched suite life, raven, wizards of waverly place and transformers!! then i had my MUCHO GRANDE SIESTA at 1135 haha.. and woke up at 1158. in a trance i (apparently) shuffled over to my presents strewn around the room and started opening them all in a pile with this retarded 3 year old first piece of candy smile on my face.. i vaguely recall xiang and my sister singing a birthday song for me. i was very happy, like how i am now. GRINS especially when i saw xiangs wonder woman box set for me. I <3 my twin.. and our kids
church this morning where i got more wishes and more presents! everytime i checked my phone i got "5 new messages" all birthday wishes! i was so so so touched by everyone who remembered. i have 41 texts altogether amongst others :) the sermon was quite good but i was so so so tired!! OHOH AND THEN jon zhang passed me my present... THE JONAS BROTHERS ALBUM FROM LIKE THE LAST CENTURY!! its so awesome. i love getting CDs :D anyway then we had anniversary lunch where lianne presented my her lovely present from her and sandra. the words on the handle of the bag were so sweet i was gonna cry. haha not really but i was that touched. then abi and lia came with my HSM BALLOON!!! i love HSM! but i love them more!!!!! they are such sweet sisters. im so thankful for them. then the boys table was behind us and they sang me a birthday song with a chickens head.. the grand finale was the top jaw flying off in its attempt to do a soprano ending!!! couteousy of bokchong and linus i think:P
then MORE PEOPLE CAME OVER! it was cool though abi and lia had to leave because abi had to study for her chem test :P teehee but we played 30 seconds, UNO and BIBLE CHALLENGE!!! i tell you the bb guys are the best at it. i sucked so bad.. megan was reading the questions and we had a conspiracy where she would drop HUGE hints so i could win :P like "the baptist" haha JOHN!!! i know, we are SO SLY. haha and having joseph as my partner didnt help!! :P clement and i made a pact to read more to thrash them next time we play again!!! it was a good education experience. the game ended kinda abruptly with joseph contaminating the dice with his dirty feet (like seriously black and unrecognizable dirty.. OMG) HAHAH then we sat around and laughed. then people (who actually HAVE school) had to leave and it was a momentarily sad moment. but then joseph was still around, to our dismay. but it was cool. ian and nat gave me this present that i didnt see at first.. then they said "make good use of it!!!!" so i was like "SURE THANG!!!" then joseph was like "SHARE IT WITH ME OK!!!" so i was like, its gotta be food. because joseph eats SO MUCH. like 1 HUGE bowl of spagetthi and 2 HUGE plates of fried rice and still not fully kinda MUCH. but then i recalled that it looked like a little notebook.. so i was like "WHAT?" then i found it and look at it - "my DATING calendar". HAHAHAHA omg, they are hilarious

i'm just so overwhelmed with happiness now. even though i didnt do any work this weekend, i am NOT emo. this year has only been getting better. hope it stays this way :)

week1 was HAWSOME! I offically <3 school!
we did the orientation campfire yesterday. the sec 1s are cute. grace and i are tot on our way to stardom. we got approached by a talent spotting agency one of the parents works in!!! OK FINE so we, if at all, might be INTRODUCING the spotted talents. BUT NONETHELESS! kudos to ms ho. she's the best
my kawan grace is the HAWSOME! (except she made me do most of the script and she didnt help with our rollercoaster pjt HAHA, but still)

right so it's about 1130pm now.. im sitting at my study table. i must say im quite proud of myself :D preens. i managed to stay of the computer for the whole night until now!
i just thought i should feed the desires of my loving fans out there (i know how much you need this to sustain you).. haha so well i was just sitting here at my table checking my email, leaning forward and my arm is in front of my chest see, not that im really short.. though it sounds like it, its just the way the table is made, i think. and suddenly i feel my whole self rocking. like my heart is beating so fast im swaying with it... its kinda hard to explain but WAY CREEPY. i think i need to strive to live a healthier lifestyle. maybe eat more fruits and smile more?
school has been good. seems i'm the only one remotely excited to be there. fridays are officially the best days of the week :D its home ec AND the kawans have the same recess! AWESOME!
